Yes! I definately am.. Well, Design student, but I'm sortof between art and design, being illustration and all... You're in Animation? I could never do animation!
Ah, I see. Yeps, I'm in Media Arts & Animation here in Seattle. I actually started off in Fashion Design, but I left because of the annoying people in that program. I'm really more into the illustration, character design, and storyboarding aspects of this field. Animation is really a lot of fun, but it's wrist shattering work.
But I gotta say, one of the coolest moments in life is watching an original character of yours "come to life" on the screen. Truly amazing.
Ah, I'm up at OCAD in Toronto. 1 more year. x___X 5 years of university is too much.
I know what you mean about Fashion Design students.. lol My friend just finished in that field.. She disliked many of the students as well.
Animation it too repetative to me, but I can completely understand what you must of felt like seeing some of your own drawings come to life. That would be spectacular! I could never in my life draw all of those frames though... Never. I get bored too easily.
